Merry Christmas!

silver_chipmunkSlept late this morning. Middle Brother got up I don't know what time, and dressed and read his books that he got for Christmas, and ate six candy canes! I know because there were six in the box and there are no longer. That was the regular peppermint ones. He also ate one for the Hershey chocolate mint ones, but I guess he didn't like them as much.
Anyway, I got up somewhat after 11 and got us breakfast and turned on the lights on the tree and the apartment. and we listened to Christmas music for awhile while I had coffee.
Then I showered and dressed and we waited till 1:30 when I called an Uber and we went to the Neptune Diner for lunch. He had his usual cheeseburger and fries, and I had strawberry pancakes.
Then we came back here, and he wanted to go home rather than hang around, so I called the group home and told them we were on the way, and we got his presents and luggage and walked to the 44 bus. Took that to Jamaica, and took the train from there.
They met us at the train station in Hicksville, and I turned around and came home, got a train almost immediately which was good. Back to Jamaica and then the 44 bus again.
Got home around 6 and spent the rest of the evening flaked out in the bedroom listening to Christmas music and playing solitaire. Eventually I got up and came out to the living room and puttered on the computer for about an hour till the FWiB got home from his Christmas, and we Skyped.
I discovered Middle Brother accidentally left one of his presents here, a Christmas ornament Star Wars storm trooper. I'll have to mail it to him this week I guess.
Tomorrow Oldest Brother has the procedure where they stick a probe down his esophagus and take an EKG of his heart from inside him. Gives a better view of the rear of the heart apparently.
