silver_chipmunkLast night after I posted here I got, at 11:24, a call from the new nursing home, that Oldest Brother had arrived. Why so late i do not know. But it was good to hear.
Then the kid texted me and we had a conversation at 12:30. I was awake until after 1, so perhaps it is no wonder I overslept and was 20 minutes late for work.
At 11:00 I had a 1 on 1 with the boss, which was painless basically.
I got a lot of phone calls from the new nursing home, mostly asking questions about Oldest Brother. I am pleased by the things I learned, and the questions they asked. I have an appointment to see the social worker on Friday at 11.
I did the teen Lounge, and for the first time put the Switch game player out for use. I got 5 teens, and they enjoyed it.
After work it was raining heavily, so when i got home, I changed into my fuzzy penguin pajamas. Then I Skyped the FWiB until it was time for my Al-anon meeting. which was small but good.
After the meeting I texted the Kid to tell her what the nursing home had said. Then I calledmashfanficchick and told zer.
The new Penrick and Desdemona novella by Lois McMaster Bujold is out but has not reached Nook yet. Frustrating to wait!
