Catch up post

So here's the catch up post I promised last night.

On Friday we didn't do much at all during the day, some shopping is all. Nice though. Then in the evening I took John and Denise out to dinner in a Thai restaurant. It was a somewhat limited menu, but quite good.

Then we went to an ice cream parlor and had ice cream for dessert, which was delicious. I had Baily's flavored.

Then we came back, and tried to fix the computer that had stopped working earlier in the day, which is why I didn't use it to post something then. They called the Apple IT number, and they were on for an hour and a half and nothing worked. They are taking it in to Jacksonville to the Apple store today.

While they were doing that, waiting for a callback, John Ivon called, and we had a conversation with him about Oldest Brother. It was nice hearing from him.

Saturday we got up late, and Denise made pancakes. That was delicious. Then we started early to take me to the airport. We stopped at the Daytona F;ea Market on the way and window shopped for about an hour. Lot of disgusting Trump-worshiping stuff, and other right wong merch, but some interesting things too.

Then they took me to the airport, we got there later than I wanted, and I discovered to my dismay that I couldn't print a boarding pass. I had to have it done, for a $25 service fee. Oy!

So I did that, and then went to security, which was longer than I expected, and made me go through twice, and put my bin through twice because they counted my Nook as a "large electronic"! The result was I nearly was late for boarding. Made it just in time to get on the line that was already boarding.

The flight iteself was unremarkable. Very smooth. I deplaned and found [personal profile] mashfanficchick and zer mother and we went to dinner at Uno.

Then they brought me back here and everything was OK< and I pposted my one line post, and went to bed.

I'll post tonight about today and do a gratitude List for the day then.
