The cancelled visit was made today

silver_chipmunkI made it to work on time, by the skin of my teeth, because there was heavy traffic on Brush avenue. At 10 I had the interview with HR about my retirement, it went well. I ascertained that I do continue my medical benefits until I hit 65 when I switch to Medicare. Which I was pretty certain of anyway, but it's nice to have it official. And that I will continue to not pay anything for them.
But in the morning we got a message that the bitch who had cancelled the visit on Tuesday, was coming today. She showed up at about 11:15 and spoke not a word to me. It was more interesting what she didn't say, nothing like "Oh I remember you, good to see you again, how are you doing?" the sort of thing that would be normal. Just nothing.
Anyway the rest of the day passed unremarkably, I weeded two shelves of graphic novels.
After work I went to the crosstown Diner for dinner, and then to my Al-anon meeting. The meeting was very good, and I am happy to say the bus came on time for me to get home.
I calledmashfanficchick about tomorrow, and then I Skyped the FWiB.
And now I'm going to go to bed and read a bit.
Oh, my fanfiction account seems to be broken again.
