Saw Oldest Brother

silver_chipmunkAnd am not happy. His mental condition was much worse than the last time I was there, and physically he had a lot of congestion, and was coughing and wheezing. I spoke to the nurse who didn't have much to say, and I was supposed to talk to the nursing supervisor, but I didn't. I left at 5 because it was getting late, and I just couldn't deal with it any more. I asked for the nursing supervisor to call me, but they never did.
Anyway, to back track a bit. I was woken up late by falling out of bed. I never had that happen before, it was very disturbing. Luckily my covers also fell out and cushioned my landing and I wasn't hurt except for a bump on my hip.
Then I had breakfast and coffee, and showered, washed my hair, and dressed. I was picked up bymashfanficchick and zer mother. While I was waiting for them I put another story on the Starsky and Hutch archive, though I seem to have made a mistake somewhere and it didn't come out as two chapters as it should have.
Anyway, they picked me up and took me to the nursing home with the results I wrote. After I left, we went to Starbucks and hung out there for several hours. I ordered something to eat and two drinks. Called Middle Brother who is fine. He was very happy, he had a picnic yesterday in a park.
Eventually we finished up there, and came back to my place, wheremashfanficchick, bless zer, helped me change the turtle tank water, took out my garbage, and took a load of laundry to the laundromat for me. I am deeply appreciative.
Then I Skyped the FWiB, and that was nice.
Tomorrow I start calling the nursing home. Also I have to call the Bard Alum off ice to see if they'll put me down for a first floor dorm room this weekend. I spent to much on this reunion weekend to cancel out of it.
Now it's time for bed.
