Rather disappointing day

silver_chipmunkAfter I wrote here last night I went to bed and finished reading The beginning Place. It's Ursula Le Guin so of course it is excellent. It was pretty much after I finished that Igot a phone call from mashfanficchick, did I want to join them on a midnight food run? I said yes, and got dressed, and they picked me up and we went to Taco Bell and I got a burrito. That was fun.
Today, however, was sort of a wash.
I had hoped to get to see Oldest Brother today. That did not happen.
I got up, had breakfast and coffee. I took a shower and washed my hair, which needed doing.
I puttered around on line, and worked on my character sheet for the D&D game, and sent it to my DM.
I put in a Shipt order to get cat food and some other things, but the impetus was cat food.
I Skyped the FWiB, that was nice, we went for almost two hours. I called Middle Brother halfway through, he is fine. Saw a movie yesterday, and enjoyed the Spring Fling the other day.
I had my leftover sundae from Wednesday for dinner, and then went and lay down to play some solitaire, and start reading I'm Afraid You Have Dragons by Peter S Beagle.
Then it was pet feeding time, and here I am.
Tomorrow we shall try again to get somewhere.
