Interesting day

silver_chipmunkStarted by oversleeping and getting to my Al-anon meeting in Bowne Park 20 minutes late. On top of that I forgot my chair, didn't remember it until my Uber was halfway there. The meeting was very good though smaller than usual.
After the meeting we went to the diner, and I got my usual bagel with cream cheese and lox. I got a ride home.
Then I went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. The episode was Kill Huggy Bear, and I actually managed to see most of it, only missed about a quarter. Then we chatted afterward, as usual.
Around 6:15 or so I got a text from RK for me andmashfanficchick that a friend of his was having a game on Discord, a system called Monster of the Week, that he was playtesting for a con, and did we want to play? I said yes and got off the chat by about 6:30 and got on Discord. I had some explanatory help along the way from RK, but I got there in the end.
mashfanficchick was asleep and didn't answer til the game was starting. and was too tired to play. But I had a good time, learning the system and the character. Hopefully I'll play with them again at some point.
It didn't end until after 12, by which time the FWiB had gone to bed, I feel bad for that.
Then I fed the pets and had dinner, and started here.
