Some good news , some not so.

silver_chipmunkBut no real bad news. I overslept this morning, despite having the alarm set, and rushed to get ready. Then we ended up changing the plan of the day so I didn't get picked up til later anyway. So that worked out wel.
I called Oldest Brother's doctor again, and miracle of miracles, he answered, and I spoke to him. I told hm my concern about the Foley catheter and about the need to see the oncologist, and I gave him the name and number of the one he saw before. He said he'd look into it and take care of it. We shall see. Now I have his number, I can cal back if he doesn't do something.
More good news came in a text from the Kid. Shant say anything about that though.
I read Kaleidoscope for awhile. It's funny I was certain I had read it, and not liked it, but reading it now I can't remember a word of it, and I like it rather a lot. So I have no idea...
Anyway,mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up somewhat after 2:30 and we went to my oncologist appointment. Got the port flushed and saw Dr K. The not so good news is I still can't have the port removed, the CT scans still showed the nodes in my lungs. She says it's nothing to worry about, though. But I have to go for more scans in four months,
After the appointment we went to On the Border and had an early dinner. Then we went to Ikea. I had to use my charge card because they were going to cancel it because I never used it. I had 14 day. So I spent 16 dollars on a set of decorative animal figures.
Then we went to Carvel and got our sundaes.
And then they brought me back home, in time for my D&D game, which was a lot of fun. No fighting, just role playing tonight. And someone pointed out it's just around now that we have our two year anniversary of playing together.
After the game I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time for about an hour.
I called the Kid, she called me back just now and we had a nice talk. All is well.
Now going to go to bed and read more of kaleidoscope.
