More recycling out
I slept late as usual... I'm really going to have to stop this sleeping til noon, I'm sure it isn't good for me. But anyway, I got up and had breakfast and coffee, and puttered online. Then I called mashfanficchick. Ze was with Dani, and I said hello, but nothing else going on.
Harris has announced her VP, and I spent some time learning about Tim Walz. I have come to the conclusion that I like him quite a lot, and he'll be good for the ticket. A lot has been said about him on Facebook, but one thing that I only saw one place, Mother Jones Magazine, was that he and his wife used IVF for their family. This makes me feel good, as I have a sort of personal interest in IVF and suchlike because of cousin Nancy and her family. Anyway, I am quite pleased with Harris's pick of him.
I texted the Kid about her feelings about Walz, she's good with him, so that's good.
At 3 or so I went into the bedroom and read more of Murder Mut Advertise. More of it is coming back as I read it, and I think I know who the killer is, but I'm not sure.
At 5 I put on clothing, and took out two loads of the empty shipping boxes I had in the kitchen and living room. After i took the first load out, and turned around to come back., it started to rain. I came back in and decided on a second load, rain or no rain. And it had stopped when i went out... until I turned around after leaving it off an just like the first time, it started raining again. I decided to skip any more for the time being.
I puttered online for an hour and a half, til 7, when I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time til 8 when I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. M wasn't there, which is always worrisome, at her age and state, I hope she's OK.
The meeting was very good anyway, and then afterward I had dinner, and then went to the bedroom again to read.
At 10 it was pet feeding time, and I fed the pets. Oreo seems fine now, he hasn't been sick at all, either end, all day. Hopefully that will continue.
So that's all about the day.
I forgot to say that yesterday I got the little Lite Brite Mini out and played with it for the first time, I'm storing the pegs in an empty pill bottle. It was fun to play with for awhile, I'm glad I bought it.
