BJ's and kimbap

Set my alarm for 10 this morning, but when it went off I just turned it off and went back to sleep more or less. Got up closer to 11.

Got a phone call from mashfanficchick that we were going out with RK to BJ's and I should throw on some clothes, no time for a shower.

So I dressed, ate breakfast, had coffee, and was just ready when they got here.

First we went to Starbucks, and I got one of their iced pumpkin spice chais, very good.

Then we went to Petco for me, and I got turtle food, because I'm almost out and my next shipment doesn't come til next month on the 20th.

Then we went to BJ's where I was looking for something fruity and sugar free to drink. Didn't find anything, but they were selling jumbo pumpkins for $7.99, so I got one. It is a very good pumpkin, large and round. I probably won't carve it, just draw a face with sharpie like I did last year.

Anyway, after that we dropped off the perishable stuff at mashfanficchick's place, and went back into Flushing, parked at my place (amazingly we found a space) and walked to 39th street where we went to a Vietnamese restaurant and got kimbap, which is a Vietnamese versin of sushi rolls. It is delicious.

After that we walked back, and took the car to Hmart. Again I looked for something to drink and failed to find anything. So I will have to do a Shipt order tomorrow.

Then they brought me home, and I puttered online for a couple of hours until 7 when I Skyped the FWiB. Before that though I ordered a Harris/Walz set of friendship bracelets from the official Harris site for a $20 donation.

I Skyped the FWiB til 8 when I had my meeting. It was very good.

Then after that I took care of some pending paperwork.

And then I had a little snack, and did my little bit of cleaning for the day. Then it was pet feeding time, and I started here.

The first story has been posted in the Spooktober challenge. I have to decide when to post my story.
