Superb Owl Day

silver_chipmunkThat's my name for the Super Bowl. I dwadled in bed this morning til 11, but then got up and ate breakfast and had coffee, showered and dressed. Then I went to the hospital to see Oldest Brother. He's still off the ventilator, which is good, they had some problems last night but they were able to resolve them without intubating him.
While I was there I texted with the Kid. She wants me to get a safe deposit box. Few banks offer them now, but Bank of America does so I'll see.
I stayed at the hospital an hour and spoke to a couple of doctors. One good thing, they just happened to mention is that they took the tube out of his gall bladder, which is a good thing.
After I left the hospital I went over tomashfanficchick's place and we spent the day working there. First we ate our Jersey Mike's leftovers from the other day, and then we worked. We got a lot done and zer place looks a lot better.
At 8:00ish I Skyped the FWiB on my phone. We had a nice three way conversation. At 8:30 I hang up and called Middle Brother. He went to a movie yesterday, the Lion King, which he enjoyed. After we talked I Skyped the FWiB again and we talked about an hour more.
After we got off,mashfanficchick and I did a little more work, and had dinner, which was quick and makeshift but tasty.
I Ubered home, which was insanely expensive, probably due to the Superb Owls flitting around.
Came home, fed the pets, and started here. That's all.
