Another busy day

silver_chipmunkGot up at 9:00. ate breakfast, had coffee, showered and dressed. Went by bus to my Al-anon meeting. I got there nicely on time, so that was good.
After the meeting I went to the diner, C drove me. I had a tuna melt, it was so-so. Then C was kind enough to drive me to the hospital to see Oldest Brother. It was an interesting drive, as we turned down a side street, two cars in front of us had just been in an accident. Weird, I can't figure out what happened. Anyway, the street was entirely blocked, and it was obvious it would be a long time before it was clear, so we drove around it, which meant up on the sidewalk.
Anyway, I got to the hospital. There's good news and bad. The good news is Oldest Brother was much more alert and responsive than yesterday. The bad news is, he's awfully congested, and they are worried about that. The issue is his lack of ability to clear the secretions. So I don't know what to say.
Anyway, I stayed for an hour, and then went tomashfanficchick's place, and we hung out until Elissa got there around 6. Then she picked us up and then picked up her friend Laurie, and we first went to Hmart for some shopping, and then to dinner at a Chinese Asian fusion restaurant. We shared food among us, and that was good.
Then Elissa drove me home and I fed the pets and Skyped the FWiB. We only talked a little while but had fun.
Issue under discussion. Several people think it makes a whole lot of sense formashfanficchick and I to share an apartment. I am... considering the question.
