silver_chipmunkAnd I got up early this morning, at 8:30. I had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed, and mashfanficchick's father picked me up.
We went to zer place and picked zer up and then went to zer mother's house so that zer father could see if there was anything there that he wanted to have. That took a couple of hours, and then we left to go get lunch.
Zer father fell on the outside steps, which was upsetting but not serious. Luckily a passing jogger was able to help us get him on his feet again. We got into the car, and continued to lunch.
We ate at the Briarwood cafe, a nice little place. I had a grilled cheese on rye with bacon and a chocolate egg cream.
Then he took us back to the house, and left us and we continued working for a few more hours. Finally we went back to zer place, with a trip first to the grocery store to get some fruit salad. When we got back we had that with cheese and crackers for a small meal/snack.
Then we watched an episode of Rescue: Hi-surf. After that we hung out doing nothing much for awhile, and finally I SKyped the FWiB from my phone, though I got off at 8:30 to call Middle Brother. He is doing fine, was watching the Garfield Movie on TV.
I Skyped the FWiB for awhile longer, and then we had dinner, and watched two more episodes of Rescue: Hi-surf. I don't love it like 911, or even Dr. Odyssey, but the setting is lovely, and I'm getting caught up in it.
By the time the episodes were over, it was very late so I Ubered home, fed the pets, and here I am. I texted the Kid, she thinks she did OK on her job interview today. And now I really must get to bed.
