silver_chipmunkOverslept and was a few minutes late to my Al-anon meeting, but not too bad. I took the bus and we made good time.
The meeting was very good. I didn't go to the diner, however, instead I went straight over tomashfanficchick's place. On the way, however, I got some sad news. Karen Briefer posted on Facebook that Tina Verras died on February 26th. That was a shock. Tina was only about a year older than me. We were friends in college, and after she dropped out. We were also friends on Facebook, so I was still in touch with her, but not close. But it's still a big shock and grief.
Anyway, I got tomashfanficchick's and we waited for Elissa to pick us up with Reet, which she did somewhat after 4:00.
We went out to Roosevelt Field, which has changed so much since I was a kid that I don't even recognize it. But it's good to know it's still there.
Anyway, we went to Lush, and Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales, and a chocolate stor, the only place I bought anything, some truffles, and a store called Garage for Reet.
Then we left and went to dinner at Applebee;s. I got the Bourbon Street Swiss and Mushroom burger, which was very tasty. Elissa paid, which was lovely of her.
Then we were supposed to go to Target but it was late so instead we just c=went home. Elissa dropped me off at home.
I Skyped the FWiB, and then fed the pets, and ow I'm thinking about eating one of the truffles I bought today but I'll probably wait.
