Got up very late

silver_chipmunkBecause I was woken up at 8:45 by the nursing home informing me they are starting Oldest Brother on morphine because he's deteriorated so much that they can't tell if he can indicate he's in pain or not. I assume this is the beginning of the end.
So I stayed in bed lying there, drowsing and alternating with grieving until after 12:00. Then I pulled myself together, and had breakfast and coffee and showered and dressed, and calledmashfanficchick.
Went over to zer place by bus, and hung out for a few hours. We called in food, burrito bowls. We Facetimes Winnie to wish her Happy Birthday. Then I Ubered home.
Got here in time to Team the FWiB. That was nice as always. Then I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. That was small but very good. M was not there for the third week, I think that her dementia has grown bad enough she won't be coming any more. I will miss her.
The cheap cd player I purchased arrived today so I tried the cd I burned with.wav files. And it sisn't work. I tried reburning the cd differently, but I couldn't get it to work. Very depressing. My next step is to see ifmashfanficchick's friend Tess would be willing and able to do it for me.
By the time I gave up on that It was pet feeding time so I fed the pets and started here.
