Good Omens 3
May. 13th, 2026 10:33 pmI got up at 10:00 and had breakfast, then put in a Shipt order. Then I had coffee and waited for it.
After it got here I put it away and puttered online. I got a Facebook message from Eva, she said she was thinking of going to the opera tonight and did I want to come? I would have liked to, but there was D&D fr the first time in two weeks. Plus to be honest, I was thinking of the cost. So I said I had other commitments tonight. I said I was usually free during the day but busy in evenings. So she said maybe we could do breakfast and I said I'd love to, let me know when and where, and she gave me a thumbs up but nothing more, so I'm waiting to hear.
Anyway, after that I remembered that today was the day that the shortened third "season", really a 90 minute movie, of Good Omens was going to drop.
So I logged in to Amazon Prime, and sure enough there it was. So I watched it, and I enjoyed it, but, no spoilers! I'm not totally happy with the ending. But it was mostly very good, I just wish Neil Gaiman hadn't turned out to be such a monster and could have had some control over it, and it had been a whole six episode season as originally planned.
After that I lay down and Larry Facebook messaged me to ask did I want to go to the Mets - Yankee game on Saturday. Of course I did! So he sent me the ticket. After that I played solitaire on my phone til 6:15 when I came out and got ready to Team the FWiB at 7:00 as usual.
We talked til 8:00 when I got on Discord to play D&D. It was very good, though my camera still won't work. I don't know why, it works fine in Teams and Zoom, so why not Discord? But anyway, we played til 10:00, we fought zombies and hobgoblins.
mashfanficchick texted me and asked me to call after the game, so I did and we talked awhile. Then I made dinner and fed the pets.
And then I started here.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Larry and his baseball tickets.
3. Good programs.
4. Eva and the family.
5. My D&D group.
6. Nice relaxing day.
