Meeting in the morning

The topic was the seventh step and tradition. I need to turn everything over to my higher power to have my defects removed and my life more managable.

After the meeting went to the diner with some people.

Then spent the rest of the day reading and puttering. Took a nap, too. And did some cleaning in my room.

Gratitude List:

1. Air conditioning.

2. My meeting and the people there.

3. Friendly neighbors.

4. Good food.

5. Paid the Verizon bill.

6. Still more days off work.

NIce day

Walked to Target in the afternoon, where I proceeded to spend to much money. Got some nice stuff though including two new shirts for work. mashfanficchick and her mother picked us up there and after dropping stuff off at home we went to Toys R Us, which is aways fun, and then to Taco Bell for dinner. Yummy.

So a nice day all-in-all, and still off work tomorrow. Going to the beach with mashfanficchick and her mother. Then back here early to meet H who is coming in to stay for the week.

3. Saw a black and white cat outside the house, was worried, but it wasn't one of ours.
