Valkyrie

Was off work today, so among other things I watched Valkyrie, which Oldest Brother loaned to me.

Actually, to put the day in chronological order, I started with therapy, then took a nap, then went out and got Bjorn's special food, picked up my laundry, and did some shopping. And I ate at Dunkin' Donuts.

Then I watched Valkyrie, which was excellent. I wonder though, if they had been successful in killing Hitler and staging a coup, would the Allies have negotiated a peace? And would it have been better for Germany than the government we set up in the Occupation? Interesting to speculate. Von Stauffenberg was no liberal.

Anyway, then went to my meeting which was very good. Except that on the way back we had to wait for a bus for almost half an hour and froze.

But I'm home and warm now.
