He answered the phone!
Nov. 30th, 2015 10:52 pmThe FWiB answered the phone when I called tonight. It's been weeks I think. We had a long conversation, he isn't in very good shape, no good news there, but at least he answered the phone and we got to talk.
Aside from that, had a training in Manhattan this morning, which went well, and I did the gaming program with the teens this afternoon, so the day went fast, and all went well.
So a pretty good day.
Though I have to say, it was brought to my attention by a post on facebook by my cousin that it is the anniversary, 16th, of the murders of Barbara and Carrie. The pain has dulled but never really goes away.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB answered the phone!
2. Good books.
3. Ice cream.
4. Family.
5. Peppermint mocha coffee from Dunkin' Donuts.
6. Can sleep an extra hour tomorrow because I'm taking comp time for the extra hur I worked today.
