Mostly OK day
Feb. 4th, 2016 11:03 pmA bit of frustration along the way, but mostly OK. Had trouble getting the last two people out at closing time, but finally we did.
Last night I finished Gentleman Jole and the Red Queen. Mostly I liked it, but with a few quibbles. There was very little conflict, mostly everything went extremely smoothly, and even when there was some inner turmoil, it seemed to be resolved too easily, and there was never any doubt as to the outcome. But all-in-all I enjoyed reading it very much.
Nothing much else to say. Called the FWiB, no answer.
Gratitude List:
1. Good books.
2. Made it to work on time.
3. A situation at work that could have turned nasty didn't.
4. Motivated myself to take out the recycling. Some of it anyway.
5. Rice pudding.
6. Friends.
