Happy Birthday to Me!

And I have had a lovely one. First met up with The Kid and SIL and went out to the Queens botanical Gardens. We saw lots of pretty flowering plants, adorable lizards, pretty fish, happy birds, including a pheasant! Then we went to Akiyama for lunch, sushi of course, cause nothing says Happy Birthday like raw fish on rice.

Then they left for a weekend in Boston, and I met up with Oldest brother and mashfanficchick and spent the rest of the day with them. We went to Whitestone to the bagel place so Oldest Brother could get some lunch, and then to the turtle pond, and walked around there. The turtles were out and about, and geese and ducks. Then we went to the bookstore in Manhasset and hung out there for a good long while. And then it was time for dinner so we went to Applebee's in Bay Terrace, and after that did some shopping at the Stop and Shop there. Came back here for cake and ice cream.

So I had a great day. And thank you to everyone who wished me happy birthday.
