Sybil went to the vet

It turned out she was badly constipated and they gave her an enema. Also did bloodwork and x-rays. Very expensive. But she seems much better.

Oldest Brother came and joined me at work afterward an after work we met up with mashfanficchick, her mother, and Mandy for carvel. Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Mets playoff game with dinner. *sigh* The Mets lost, but we had a good time.

Bed now, very late.

Got the results of Sybil's blood tests

All is normal. The vet is puzzled as to why she was so constipated and advises I keep an eye on her.

Work was normal. Nothing of interest. The Kid called me, nice to talk to her but nothing important.

And that' all. Tomorrow Spyder goes to the vet and we'll see what happens.

Oh, I downloaded Goldenhand, the next Old Kingdom book by Garth Nix. Pretty good so far.

Oh, and the light for the turtle tank has given out, not the bulb but the actual lamp. Need to get a new one soon.
