So the good news

It turns out I was just being paranoid about the work thing. Everything worked out fine, and all is well in that regard.

That being said, I feel that darkness has fallen all over the nation as of today. Tomorrow I go march in protest. Meeting up with cousins John and Denise and Brianne along with, I hope mashfanficchick. I hope nothing untoward happens, but I am prepared if it does.

Went out after work to Boston Market and then my meeting. Very good meeting on detachment and changed attitudes. Then met up with mashfanficchick and her mother to go to Target where I got a new sweater in leopard print, and then to The Cheesecake Factory where I got stuffed mushrooms and a piece of, of course, cheesecake. Very delicious.

Woman's March

Slept later than I had planned but not to bad. Went to breakfast briefly at the bagel place, and then into the city for the Woman's March.

Found where we were going to meet, and joined up with John, Denise, Brianne, some friends of theirs, and mashfanficchick and her mother. And we did the march. Wow. It was tremendous. They are estimating anywhere frm 200,000 to 400,000. All peaceful and friendly. The cops were great, no problem, and everything went wonderfully. We took a break in the middle to find a place to use the bathroom, and we found a place that had 99 cent pizza. Pretty good too.

Then we went back to the march and finished up. Amazing, just amazing. I didn't take any pictures, wish I had, oh well.

Came home, stopped in Flushing for milk and cereal for tomorrow. Boy am I stiff and sore! But it was WORTH IT!

Oh, and my boss texted me this morning to be safe if I was marching!
