[personal profile] mashfanficchick and her mother picked us up in the morning and we dropped him off at the vet's, and then went and had breakfast. Then I went to work (and the bus was really late) which went fine up until the last hour which was hellish. Two members of the public, women, got into a faceoff that I was afraid was going to turn into a fistfight. Thank God it didn't. Then I had to spend ages helping one of them with the computer, and she was, um, to put it gently, dense. It was harrowing all-in-all.

But I survived and got out and got to 20th Ave on the bus (late again, though not as badly) where [personal profile] mashfanficchick and her mother met me and we went and picked up Spyder. He came through the test fine. His condition is the same, which is good. He has to go in for blood tests in two weeks.

And then I came home and spent the rest of the evening puttering online or on my phone and reading. Had a problem with the facebook app on my phone so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and that did the trick.

And my boss texted me that I left my keys in my locker door at work. Since I keep separate keychains for work and home, I didn't even know til he told me, but he was afraid I might be locked out. Nice to have a boss who cares.

Cousin Diane was in a car crash because she blacked out. She's unhurt from the crash, miraculously, but they have her hospitalized to find out why she blacked out.

Gratitude List:

1. Spyder is doing well.

2. Diane is OK from the crash.

3. Boss who cares.

4. The rain cleared up.

5. Called The Kid, all well with her.

6. The sound of wings a flock of birds makes taking off all together.
