The FWiB still has phone problems

But at least I got to talk to him. I called and they said there were problems with the phone but they had him come to the nurses station so we could have a word, but obviously we couldn't talk long. The internet was out too, and he was not happy. Hopefully things will be better by tomorrow.

The rest of the day was good. Work was OK, there was a bunch of stuff going on but nothing that involved me. The boss is going to be away for another week getting his father moved. After work I did some shopping in Rite Aid and then ate at Boston Market. Then I called the FWiB from Dunkin' Donuts.

And then I went to my meeting, which was very good. I chaired the second meeting, which was on the 4th tradition. That went very well.

Went home and was just preparing to call Oldest Brother for our nightly talk when the phone rang. mashfanficchick, asking would I like to join them at the Cheesecake Factory? Why, yes I would. So I headed off to Woodhaven, calling Oldest Brother on the way. Had a very good time, ate an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms, and cheesecake for dessert.

And then they brought me back here and here I am. Have to figure out when and where I'm supposed to be in the city for the Science March tomorrow.
