Posting really early

Because I probably won't have a chance to tonight.

Missed the march that I was planning on going to today, I overslept... one of those "just can't get up" days, at least I didn't miss work. Anyway, I went into the city anyway, and ended up, as I frequently do, at Union Square and the Strand. Walked around the square, through the greenmarket, but didn't buy anything (I did get two little glass penguins on Canal Street before I went to Union) and got a green tea creme frappacino at Starbucks.

At the Strand I spent too much money. Got my very late birthday presents for mashfanficchick, and something for Oldest Brother that I will hold for the next gift giving occasion. And something for me of course. The Magicians, I forget the author, a Syfi series has been based on it.

Came home and got a call from mashfanfic asking did I want to come over and help Theo wrangle and then spend the night so we could get an early start to Queens Pride tomorrow? Sounds good to me. So as soon as the cats finish eating I'm off. That's why I'm posting early.
