Back to work

Though I was late... I missed turnning the alarm on last night and this morning I woke up in time but didn't get out of bed cause I was sick and, well things escalated. But it wasn't too bad. Anyway, did the laptop program with the teens and it was unexpectedly successful.

After work the FWiB called and I went to my meeting. The meeting was just me and M again, but better than nothing.

Just as we were finished and leaving, mashfanficchick texted and asked did I want to try to view that rocket that is eventually going to launch and release the colored clouds for wind current study. I said yes and they picked me up, but the launch was scrubbed again. So we went to Uno. I had eaten dinner already so I just had two tropical fruit smoothies. Delicious and cooling.

Came home and my new credit card arrived in the mail! So that's good.

Oh btw my cold is much better but still there.

Slept badly last night

Woke up several times. Had difficulty getting up in the morning but made it in to work on time anyway. Did the Teen Lounge but it was not successful today. Talked to the FWiB on the way home.

The weather is cooler, a really nice day for a change.

No Carvel because mashfanficchick doesn't feel well, the cold she's been suffering from getting the better of her I guess.

I got invited to a winery trip with the Torchwood group, but I have a sad feeling it's a Saturday I have to work. Maybe I can switch with someone. Watch this space.

I feel like I should say something about the fire in London, but words fail me. The pictures take me back to 9/11. As to the shooting in VA, well... I deplore violence on general principal but Malcolm X was right when he spoke of chickens coming home to roost.
