A nice day

After work, the FWiB called, he had chemo today but is feeling OK. I also got a facebook message from my old friend Karen B from college, she's bought a retirement home (!) only an hour away from the cottage, and we are looking forward to seeing each other once she retires in a few years.

mashfanficchick and her mother to dinner at Fridays, then we went to Carvel. Very nice time.
And that's about all there is to the day.
Tomorrow I have the plumbers coming again to look at the gas valve.
Last night before bed I downloaded the new Lois McMaster Bujold novella, Pentic's Fox, and started reading it. I'll read a bit more tonight.
