I decided on the palliative treatment

When the vet called this morning I asked questions and I ultimately decided that because of his age it was pointless and unfair to put Bjorn through the aggressive diagnostics and chemotherapy. So they started him on prednisone and he's responded, he ate for them. He's staying tonight in the hospital again so they can monitor him, and tomorrow I bring him home and begin dosing him with oral pred. Then we see how long it keeps him comfortable, weeks or months at best.

I spent the day sleeping late, waiting for the vet to call, and then going over to mashfanficchick's place to help her out. We had lunch at Five guys and for dinner we called in for sushi. Cause nothing says "getting the apartment straight" like raw fish on rice.

The FWiB called, later than usual because he was out with one of his friends who came to visit him and they went out for dinner.

I texted The Kid about Bjorn and my decision and asked her to call if she had any questions, but she didn't so I guess she thinks I made the right decision.
