Long and tiring day

Started out doing the class with the 5th grade students. That went very well but was a lot of work. Then in the after noon I did the gaming program with the teens. They were more rambunctious than usual. And of course because I got in an hour early for the class, I did an extra hour of work.

I also called what i thought was the number on the note on the door,but wasn't, so I got a wrong number. I'll try again tomorrow. Of course there was no answer to my e-mail so I'll call them tomorrow too.

After work the FWiB called. He is backin ship-of-fools, I hope he starts posting regularly.

And I went out for pizza at Uno with mashfanficchick and her mother. Good time. We did a little shopping afterward too, which is why I'm so late entering this.

The good news

I called the management company about the note on my door about the toilet and the shower replacement and to my not very great surprise found out that it was all a mistake, going back to when they said I was leaking into the non-existent apartment below me (I'm on the first floor, there is no apartment below me). So that's good, I don't need to be here next Tuesday after all.

Aside from that, things are OK. Work was work, nothing much to say about it, I did the laptop program with the teens.

The Kid called, we had a brief chat. And the FWiB called after work of course, and we were having a nice talk when my phone battery died. So we got cut off.

Then I went to my meeting, which was small but good, and then I came home.

This morning while I was in the shower someone rang the doorbell quite emphatically, but by the time I had gotten out of the shower and to the door they had left. I have no idea what it was about. I worried all day that something might have happened here in connection with it but it doesn't seem to have.

5. The pure white pigeon that I've seen three times now in the flock the lives near where I work.
