Did some stuff today

Got up and discovered that my milk had turned, so I showered and dressed and went to Dunkin' Donuts. Then came home and did all the dishes that were accumulated. And started putting the silverware in the drawers in the table. By the time I finished, mashfanficchick and her mother were here to pick me up with Theo.

We went to New Jersey, stopping at a candy place in Manhattan. It was amazing! I got a pound of taffy for Middle Brother for his Christmas stocking.

Then we proceeded to new Jersey, and to an Ikea there, where mashfanficchick had to pick up something. I got a clock for the kitchen. We had a small meal there, and then we drove Theo home.

The FWiB called and we had a brief talk, which was too short but we'll do better tomorrow.

We ended up having poke at a place in Jersey City with Dani and Winnie. It was delicious and nice to see them.

And then we came back. And that was the day.

Annoyance of the day, I discovered that the plumbers hooked the kitchen sink up wrong. I get cold water from the hot tap and hot water from the cold tap. mashfanficchick says this is a safty violation of the day and I should report it. I guess I will tomorrow.

Fairly quiet day

Nothing much happened. Work was OK, I did the gaming program with the teens and had a pretty nice group.

After work the FWiB called and we talked as I went to the bank, and we had a nice talk.

When I got home, I found I had, not a jury summons, but a jury questionnaire, which they send before you get a summons to make sure you're eligible. Fortunately I have the notice proving I served less than six years ago, so I should be OK for now. Got to send that in though.

Continuing to read Hogfather for the ship discussion.
