Not quite a wasted day

But my therapist cancelled, and the carpenter never showed up, so those things were a bust. However, Oldest Brother came over, and with his help I got to the bank, got to the post office to get the package that they didn't deliver last Saturday, and got my laundry from the laundromat.

After he left, the FWiB called and we had a nice conversation, which got abruptly ended when Sybil managed to break an ornament from the Christmas tree. I had to get off to sweep up the pieces. A pity, it was one of the old ones. I'm sad about it.

mashfanficchick and her mother picked me up and after a couple of stops we came back to her place and had sushi for dinner. Cause nothing says "sleepover at a friend's like raw fish on rice". I'm spending the night so we can get an early start on tomorrow. When I will call out sick and go to the Torchwood party.

Something exciting, mashfanficchick had heard of a five year old neutered male cat in need of a home. So there is a very good chance I'll be taking him after the holidays. We'll see.
