Work Christmas party

The day went fairly well except I had to throw a kid out of the building for throwing a book across the seating area. He didn't want to go, and kept coming back in and arguing.

But finally everything quieted down, we closed, and had our staff dinner. It was pretty dood, we had wine with it, and everything was tasty.

We finished with enough time for me to get to my Friday night meeting for the first time in the month, which was a very nice thing.

The FWiB called, we could only talk for a short while though, between my getting out of the dinner and getting to the meeting. All is well, he got his new iPad today.

Came home and got two Christmas cards, one from Linda, which makes sense, and one from Laurie, which doesn't considering how she went off on me at Sara's wedding.
