The arrival of Oreo

Started out the day going to therapy. It was COLD travelling! But I got there, no problem.

After that I came home in a hurry, since Oreo was supposed to be delivered at 12:30. Well, he ultimately got here around one, so there really wasn't any hurry.

I brought him into the bedroom and opened the carrier and he popped right out and did a quick trip around the room, finally coming to rest under the bed. I left him alone for awhile, about an hour, to calm down, then went in to get to know him.

He does indeed seem very friendly, he got out from under the bed, thoroughly explored the room, and is now sitting cozily on the bed. He has been letting me pet him and scritch him, and he seems serene.

Sybil has smelled him on my hands, and she knows he's in the bedroom, I;ve seen her staring at the door, but she seems pretty laid back about it so I'm hoping there won't be too much trouble when I introduce them, which will probably be Sunday.

My meeting tonight was cancelled because of the weather, so I just stayed home and got to know Oreo.

The FWiB called, his phone is still out.

I texted The Kid and we discussed things by text.
