Horrible time getting home

The day started out well, except for the weather. The nor'easter hit as predicted, and it was fairly miserable getting to the bus stop to get to therapy. But I got there, and it was good. Then after, I was very lucky with both buses getting to work, In both cases, I got to the bus stop just as a bus was arriving.

So I got to work pretty easily. Work was OK, nothing special. Got a text that my meeting tonight was cancelled. Considering the weather, not surprising. So I figured it would be a chance to text J, since I now have her correct phone number programmed into my phone for texts, and tell her that it was cancelled. And she replied and that was good.

So anyway, after work, I figured I'd be home and able to Skype with the FWiB pretty quickly. Nope. I waited almost an hour for the bus, and when it finally got there the traffic was so bad I did not get home til 8:35. Yes, you read that correctly. I left work at 5:00 as usual on Friday, and got home at 8:35. I did call the FWiB while I was waiting for the bus, and we talked for over two hours, so he kept me company for most of it. And I did get a seat on the bus after about a half hour, so I was seated and warm for most of the time, but still. What a waste of time.

At least by the time I got home the rain had stopped and the wind had died down.

Anyway, that's about all. Made plans with Oldest Brother for Middle Brother's birthday, which is coming up.

And looking forward to getting to bed and reading.
