Reading and shopping

I slept late this morning, then got up and breakfasted and had my coffee, and puttered on-line. After awhile of that I went into the bedroom and finished reading Winter of the Birds. It is as good as I remembered it, and I am glad I found it again.

After that, and taking some time off to drowse a bit, I got up and took a shower and washed my hair. Then I dressed, and Skyped with the FWiB. We didn't talk long though, the bronchitis is still making it hard for him to talk.

After that, I went out to the Stop and Shop shopping center via the bus, and ate dinner at Uncle Bill's Diner. I spent a bit more than I should have, and ate more than I should have, but it was tasty.

Then I went to Stop and Shop and, well, shopped. And then I took the bus home.

So a reasonable sort of day off. Back to work tomorrow of course.
