Still getting ready for my trip

Tomorrow is the big day. A week away in beautiful, exotic Akron, Ohio. Ha! But that is where the FWiB and David M are, so that is where I go.

Something went wrong with my clock again, and again I ended up at work an hour early. At least I wasn't late. The day went smoothly. We had a staff meeting in the morning, it was painless. I printed my boarding pass, which was a pain and a half, but I did it successfully finally.

I had decided to skip my meeting in order to get ready for the trip. So after work I called the FWiB, and headed home, though first to Petland Discounts to get kitty litter. That was a real hassle to get home, but i did it. The door is still taped open, but since I'm leaving tomorrow, I'm not too concerned. Got in and Skyped the FWiB for a bit. I am so looking forward to this trip to see him.

I cleaned the turtle filter again, and cleaned all the cat pans. Then I packed. I am bringing my laptop and using the bag as a purse on the trip because with y super discount fare I am restricted to one personal iten, like a laptop or purse, and no carry-on luggage.

I am nervous as hell about the whole thing. I have never traveled anywhere by myself except the cottage, and never by myself by plane. I just pray this all works out ok.

mashfanficchick is on her way over to get my keyfob so it can be used while I'm gone for taking care of the pets. I am lucky to have good friends.
