Very quiet day

Last night after I got to bed and settled down, my phone rang and it was The Kid, wanting to tell me about a bid she won on the auction site she's been using. A really beautiful ring, she showed me the picture. So we talked about that for awhile, and that was nice.

Got up this morning and went to work, made it well on time. We were short staffed but as always on a summer Saturday it was very quiet. The Kid called back still wanting to talk about her ring.

Had sushi for lunch, cause nothing says short staffed, eating lunch early like raw fish on rice.

After work I Skyped the FWiB when I got home, and we had a nice talk.

And that is all.
