No meeting tonight

The day started with me oversleeping and being late. But aside from that work was OK. There was an odd incident involving someone calling and saying there was a man smoking pot outside. I said we couldn't really police the outside but I'd go look and see what was going on. I figured if he was right near the door I could ask him to move. But there was no man outside at all! So go figure.

I got a text message from one of the meeting regulars, S, that he couldn't make it tonight, so I knew it would be a small meeting.

Anyway, after work I called the FWiB and we talked. That was nice. Then I got a text from mashfanficchick that she had bought the train tickets for our trip next week. And we arranged for her and her mother to pick me up after my meeting to give her a check for my ticket, and to have dinner.

So I got to the meeting site and started setting up, and had just finished when I got a call from M, the other person who was going to be there. Her car wouldn't start, so she couldn't come, and so there was no meeting.

But while I was waiting there, the phone rang and The Kid called, and we talked basically until it was time for me to close the meeting stuff up, and go meet mashfanficchick and her mother.

And we went to Applebee's for dinner, and that was very nice.

Oldest Brother isn't answering his phone

I've been trying for a half hour now. I'm not panicking because I know he was fine at 9:30 when I texted him to tell him I would call later. But it's annoying and worrying.

Aside from that the day has gone well. Got to work on time, worked, nothing special. After work called the FWiB, then Skyped when I got home. But before we talked very long, got picked up by mashfanficchick and her mother to go to Uno for their Wednesday night lobster roll and clam chowder special. That was delicious. Then went to Carvel for sundaes.

That's basically my day.Now back to trying Oldest Brother...
