Day with Oldest Brother

A nice day, but it started out frustrating. I set the alarm for early enough to get to the Saturday meeting I haven't been to in ages. Got up to use the bathroom somewhat before the alarm went off and it was POURING outside, complete with thunder and lightning. I decided to wait to see if it cleared up before I decided if I should go out or not. Then fell asleep again until I was woken up by The Kid calling at 11. And the rain had stopped already. Bummer.

The Kid started the rabies treatment last night, and aside from feeling achy from injections, she is fine.

Oldest Brother came at 2, and we read facebook together for awhile. Then we went out to Target and we did some shopping. He got a pair of shoes and some blades for his electric razor, I got cat food, orange juice, spinach for the turtle, and a timer for the light on the turtle tank.

We ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, and had ice cream at Carvel for dessert.

Then we came back here and read facebook again for a few hours. And then he left.

The FWiB was out most of the day with his family who are visiting him. But we are going to Skype at 9 am tomorrow before he goes out.

I gave Christy some of her spinach and she scarfed it down as always.
