Greek for dinner

Was a little late for work but not bad. Got there to find that someone had called out sick so there was only three of us. Had to redo the schedule and cancel the walk around computer tutor session, but that's ok.

Got a text from mashfanficchick asking did I want to join her and her mother for dinner, home made Greek Yes, of course I did.

So after work I didn't phone the FWiB because he was still having dinner. I Skyped when I got home but we only had a few minutes before I got picked up bymashfanficchick and her mother.

We went to do some shopping, and then back to her place, and she made dinner. Very delicious. All meat free, beans in tomato sauce, feta cheese, hummus, tomato and cucumber salad, and stuffed grape leaves. For desert we had Greek yogurt (vanilla), with honey, chopped walnuts, strawberries, and whipped cream. Marvelous.

And then they brought me home. Bed soon.

And it is now autumn officially.

I wrote fic today!

Though I have not finished it yet, but there is a good chunk of a shortish fic finished. It is a major thing since I have found it almost impossible to write since my husband left. I don't know what the connection is, I've been afraid that it might have to do with the anti-depressants I'm on, but maybe I can come back and start again.

Anyway, to take the day as it happened, originally there were other plans, but they fell through, so I had nothing to do. I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice conversation.

In the evening, I went out with mashfanficchick and her mother, and we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and then Target. We bought a lot of the stuff for Halloween Trick-or-Treaters from Target, and we placed an order for more with Oriental Trading Company. So that was good.

Now it's time for bed.
