Things got interesting

Right after I posted last night.

I had previously gotten a text from mashfanficchick who was at Baltimore Comicon, about if I could, if necessary, go over to her apartment and let Mandy in, which I said I could do. It was possible that Mandy, who was also at Comicon, would miss her connecting bus from the Port Authority to Albany. I thought it would be earlier in the evening, so when I wrote last night, I thought it wouldn't be necessary and didn't mention it. Then I heard from Mandy that she would miss the bus, and so I agreed to go over. And due to the messups of Greyhound, she was much later than either of us expected. Meanwhile mashfanficchick was having her own problems with Greyhound, which resulted in her taking 9 hours to get back. Anyway, I waited til Mandy showed up at 12:45 or so, and then she was kind enough to get me a Lyft back. But I still didn't get to bed til almost 2, so roday I called out sick and slept late.

Then I got up, and was puttering around when mashfanficchick texted and asked if I wanted to join her and Mandy for lunch. So I showered and dressed and headed over, and we went into Manhattan. We had lunch at Chipotle, and saw Mandy off.

When I got home I puttered around some more, then Skyped the FWiB, who currently is suffering a bad toothache.

After we Skyped, I got back to my story, and I finished it!!!!! So I'll tweak it over the next few days, and then post it. I'll link to it here for anyone who's interested.

So that was the day.
