Successful day

Work was good, I had a Bob Friedhoffer program that was quite popular with the teens.

After work I called the FWiB, and we talked til I got to 20th ave, where I met up with mashfanficchick and her mother. We went to carvel, and then to Michael's for some Halloween shopping. I got something for Christmas, though, a really adorable 3d tinsel penguin. It was $14 but mashfanficchick gave me a 50% off coupon, so I got it for $7 and change.

Then we went to Uno and all had the lobster roll Wednesday special, which is delicious.

So quite a good day.

Nothing spectacular

Nice day but a bit chilly. Nothing special at work, all went well. The Kid texted, she really wants me to watch Daredevil!

After work I called the FWiB, and then we Skyped briefly when I got home.

The big thing is that I left the bedroom door open when I was lying on the bed talking to Oldest Brother, and for 15 minutes before, to see how the cats would react, and they did very well. I'm trying this because of how I found the bedroom door open when I got back from SHarecon. So maybe I will be able t get them together after all. I'm not going to leave them together while I'm not here yet, and not while I'm asleep, but hopefully eventually I'll be able to!

Oh, one upsetting thing. When I picked up my phone after Skyping the FWiB, it wouldn't turn on. I pulled the battery and put it back in, and since then it's been fine, but I'm worried.
