Pretty good day
Dec. 7th, 2018 10:10 pmFirst off, the electricity wasn't off from 8 to 12, it turns out Con Ed, which was going to replace the electric meters in the building, cancelled the appointment and rescheduled for Monday. Which means there won't be power Monday morning when I get up for work. But no big deal.
I got a phone call from my therapist confirming my appointment for a week from today, which is what I expected.
I ate breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts, and came back and puttered around. Then I Skyped the FWiB for a nice long time. The phones are still not working, but should be tomorrow. We'll see.
I got three deliveries of various Christmas presents. Also I ordered two more things, can't say what because one's for Oldest Brother and he reads this. (Waves. Hi!)
Called the company that is doing my power supply and cancelled, because their rates are appalling. Once I'm really out of thier clutches I'll go back to the company I used previously.
Went to the Bronx for my meeting. We had our pot-luck today, so first I went to the supermarket across the street and bought my contribution, a fruit plate, and a cheese, crackers, and meat plate. I still have some left over since there were only four of us. The fruit I'll eat myself but the cheese, crackers and meat I'll take to work tomorrow if I remember.
While I was shopping I got an e-mail from the FWiB with some very good news, he just heard he has an appointment for an evaluation for the assisted living place. So hopefully he'll be out of the nursing home soon.
Last night the Kid called, she and the SIL are doing well at getting moved in. We tried to talk about plans for Christmas, but without knowing if Oldest Brother is working Christmas Eve, it's difficult.

mashfanficchick about the TWNY party, she said she would call me but hasn't yet. I am perturbed.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB hopefully getting out of the nursing home.

5. Didn't get charged a cancellation fee from the power provider.
6. Cats might be getting along better. Maybe.
