Another busy day

And a good one. Work was good, I had a program, Puppet Making Palooza, which got a really good number of teens and other ages as well. A good time was had by all.

During the program my phone rang and it was the Kid, and she suggested that she pick me up from work, and we have dinner together, just the two of us. So of course I said yes, and that's what we did. We went to Akiyama, our favorite Japanese place, and had sushi, because nothing says Mother and Daughter night out like raw fish on rice!

Then she drove me home and I Skyped the FWiB. He's doing well, no word yet on the Medicaid evaluation, buut it should be soon.

I had previously been texted by mashfanficchick about joining them later. They went to see White Christmas in the theater, a Hanukkah gift from her to her mother, which was why we weren't doing Carvel. So I said yes, and a little after 9:00 they picked me up and we went out to a diner. Since I had eaten, I just ordered dessert, a milkshake.

So that kept me busy all day, and now it's time for bed.

Pretty normal day

Work was OK. Nothing much going on except some yummy gifts from the public. Cheesecake, and soda bread, and chocolate. From three different people of course.

The Kid texted me, she wants me to take her miniature Christmas tree that she had in college. She can't fit it in her new apartment and she wants someone who will take care of it. So I said yes. She is also giving me her paper shredder.

After work I still couldn't call the FWiB. But hopefully tomorrow. They are getting a whole new phone system and new provider, and new phone number. He gave me the new phone number already.

I went and met up with mashfanficchick to have dinner. We went to Kissfish, a poke place. It was delicious. Cause nothing says night out like raw fish on rice! After that for dessert we went next door to a crepe place.
