Successful teen lounge

Got more kids for the teen lounge than I did in a long time... 17. Not all at once of course.Aside from that work was pretty normal. Second to last day of being open til 7. Next week we start closing at 6 except for Friday and Saturday.

After work I went to 20th ave. and met up with mashfanficchick and her mother, and we went to Carvel, and the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

E-mailed the FWiB, he goes to the pulmunologist tomorrow morning to find out about that cough.

And that's about all there is to say.

Rain, and more rain

Was a little late for work today because I had trouble getting up, but not bad.

Work itself was quiet, not much going on. It was our last 7:00 day for the foreseeable future, the new hours start next week. I have mixed feelings about that. I think they should have kept one or two days at 7:00, instead of cutting it entirely.

After work I came home and Skyped the FWiB. He saw the pulmonologist today and got a mostly good report. He doesn't have the fatal disease they were afraid he might have, which he didn't tell me about until he told me he didn't have it. He does have a mild case of emphysema but his lung function is normal, though on the low end, and his blood oxygen levels are excellent. And with any luck he'll be moving to assisted living around the end of Feb. or beginning of March.

And that's all there is really. The rain was a torrential downpour this morning but had stopped by the time I came home. Nothing much else to say.
