Movie day

Oldest Brother and i took Middle Brother out to see Alita: Battle Angel today. We saw it in 3D, which was nice but I don't think strictly necessary. The effects were stunning, though. It was pretty good all around.

After the movie, which we saw here in the local theater, we went over to Bay Terrace because the Five Guys we used to go to here in College Point closed, and Middle Brother really like Five Guys. So we went to the one there in Bayside. And after we ate, they waited for me while I ducked into the Stop and Shop there and got some stuff. Including a new flavor of Cheerios, maple. Which I had to try.

Then we came back here and Oldest Brother napped for awhile, and I played the Chieftains for Middle Brother to listen to, while I wrote some more on my Kolchak essay.

Then I woke Oldest Brother up, and made him coffee while he read what I had written. He says it's very good. We made a few changes, and then they left.

After they left I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice chat, and then I went to my room intending to read but instead playing solitaire on my phone waiting for Oldest Brother to call to let me know he was home.

And that's the day. I have somewhat over 400 words written in the essay, so it's about half done.
