The shocker for today
Feb. 26th, 2019 10:49 pmMy boss announced that he is leaving on March 15, to go to Ithaca to be with his wife who is up there taking care of her father. I don't want him to go! Readers of this journal for a long time will know that I have suffered under some very bad bosses, and I am scared of who we might get in to replace him. I like this one!
So that happened. Aside from that, a fairly normal Tuesday. Did the laptop computer program with the teens, got 11.
After work I Skyped the FWiB from my phone, and instead of going through Flushing and getting lamb over rice from the halal cart, I took the Q20 from 20th Ave to College Point and got pizza for dinner.
Then went to my meeting, which was good.
And that's the day.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My boss, as long as we've had him.
3. My meetings and the people there.
4. Warm bed waiting for me.
5. Pizza.
6. Warm gloves.
edited to add: Completely forgot to say this morning I voted in the special election for Public Advocate. My candidate didn't win though. But it sounds like the winner is a good guy so it's all good.
