My turtle is home

And she seems fine.

Work was good except that after two days of being too cold, today we were too hot. I did the teen lounge and actually got 21!

After work I Skyped the FWiB on my phone. Got back home and was just starting to Skype from the computer when Oldest Brother arrived and I had to go. We picked up the turtle at the vet's, brought her home, and then went and picked up mashfanficchick and went out to dinner together. We went to Chile's.

After we finished dinner and brought her home, mashfanficchick gave us food baskets for Purim. I forget what they are called. But she included homemade hamentashen, which was delicious.

And now the turtle is swimming around just fine. She goes in to have eight doses of antibiotic injections, but that's minor.

Rainy day

Not much to be said about it. Went to work, worked. Managed to forget to bring my yogurt and coffee k-cup so I had to go out for lunch and my morning coffee in the rain. Bah. But aside from that the day was unremarkable.

Skyped the FWiB on the way home, and from the computer when I got home. All is well.

Some bad news from Oldest Brother, he got a flat tire today and has to go Saturday to get a new tire, so he won't be able to take the turtle and I to the vet. I'll have to get a cab or an Uber.

As to the turtle, she is currently swimming around, after having eaten well, so I am feeling quite comfortable as to her health.

The Kid called and we had a nice conversation.
