Another cleaner wimped out on me

Though this time she let me know reasonably. She had a car accident, not serious. So I don't know when I'll reschedule.

Work was OK, very quiet.

After work I Skyped the FWiB, got a bus home almost immediately so I would have been in plenty of time for the cleaners, so that was frustrating. Skyped the FWiB when I got home too, we had a nice talk.

Lois McMaster Bujold posted that one of her favorite books is on sale for $1.99, on Nook, Kindle, other formats. It's The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. It sounded interesting, and I have great respect for her recommendations, so I downloaded it to my Nook.

I finished reading the Janet Evonovitch I was reading, and have started on The Goblin Emperor, and it is quite good. I'd rather be reading it in hard copy though, because there is a character list, which is difficult to refer to on the Nook. Oh well.

The Kid called, she did get Oldest Brother's message yesterday so she and the SIL will be joining us for Easter at Aunt Helen's. We talked much about jewelry.
